The family-friendly neighborhood of Bee Caves Woods is located just east of Walsh Tarlton Lane and Bee Caves Road, west of MoPac, south of Bee Caves Road and north of Capital of Texas Hwy. With one of the largest malls in Austin close by, Bee Caves Woods is also close to shopping, downtown, Zilker Park (just across MoPac) and the Barton Creek Greenbelt. Zilker Park has Barton Springs pool for swimming, picnic areas, soccer fields, a large playground area, a hillside theater, and a small train, so there is no need to have parks in the neighborhood. Bee Caves Woods also has a state of the art community library. The Bee Caves Woods neighborhood is a very short commute to downtown Austin. Even in rush hour traffic, it’s only about ten minutes away. Whether you are looking for a small upscale condominium like the ones on Liberty Park, or a single family home, this neighborhood is worth seeing.
