Part of what makes this community so popular is the plethora of amenities Westchase has to offer. Hundreds of acres of preserved land surround most homes with a variety of wildlife and provide scenic views over lakes, ponds and fairways. The 18-hole, public Westchase Golf Club has won several awards and has been called “one of the most beautiful public-access courses in the Tampa area.” A multitude of parks, playgrounds, picnic pavilions and nature trails dot the different neighborhoods, and a soccer field, sand volleyball court plus two Swim and Tennis Centers are available for residents’ enjoyment.

GOLF COURSE

WESTCHASE GOLF COURSE

The centerpiece of the Westchase community is the Westchase Golf Club. Designed by nationally renowned architect Lloyd Clifton, the club boasts a 6710-yard, par 72 course, spanning natural wetlands, with wooden bridges and bulkheads. It’s been recognized by the National Golf Foundation for outstanding course conditions, service and value; has placed in the top ten for the CLASP (Customer Loyalty And Satisfaction) award; has won a Great Value award and has earned high ratings from Golf Digest.

Opened in 1992, Westchase Golf Course has a rich history and caters to golfers from around the world, around the community and of all different skill levels. Their signature 3rd hole is a par 3 over water and guests are provided with a cutting edge GPS that gives Pro tips and shows accurate yardages. In addition to the lovely course, Westchase has a 9,500-square-foot clubhouse offering full service meals and beverages perfect for every kind of event, from a simple outing to a grand wedding.

ATHLETIC CENTER

 

WESTCHASE SWIM & TENNIS CENTER

The nexus of each Westchase neighborhood is found at the two remarkable Swim & Tennis centers, each with its own unique features. Two community swimming pools, which include lap lanes, shallow play areas and toddler pools, make a perfect place for the fitness-minded, the relaxation seeker, or a family to enjoy a day out. Several shaded areas are provided to get out of the heat and meeting rooms are available for rental. Private swimming lessons and aquatic fitness programs are available for beginning and experienced swimmers. Competitive swimmers ages 5 through high school may be interested in joining TBAY-Westchase, a swim team designed to meet the individual needs of the area’s competitive swimmers while providing a challenging and fun environment in a quality setting.

For tennis aficionados, 10 state-of-the-art and fully lit courts are available between the two centers. With 6 hard courts at one center and 2 hard and 2 cushioned at the other, there is always room for a game for any level of player. Private lessons and clinics for adults and children will help players improve their skills and prepare for the USTA league competitions that are regularly held in Westchase.

THE VILLAGES OF WESTCHASE

Bennington – Carefully designed houses that have been kept up-to-date since their construction in the 90s. Most have manicured yards, some fenced, two- and three-car garages, heated swimming pools and spas.

Berkeley Square – Upscale condos and townhomes offering maintenance -free living in a two-bedroom 1,100 sq. ft. home at an affordable price.

The Bridges – A variety of one- and two-story homes ranging from 1,400 to 3,400 sq. ft. in several different, distinct neighborhoods. Homes in The Bridges offer something for every size family.

The Enclave – Two-story houses with zero lot lines and three or four bedrooms at around 2,000 sq. ft. Lawn, landscape and maintenance are included in monthly dues. The Enclave is gated for residents’ security and comfort.

The Fords – Six neighborhoods hosting three- to four-bedroom, single-family homes of between 2,000 and 3,400 sq. ft. Most homes have swimming pools and spas as well as updated interiors.

Glencliff – Two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans, as well as beautiful contemporary kitchens and baths, upgraded flooring, large windows and some with swimming pools and spas as well.

Glenfield – A smaller two-street community featuring one- and two-story houses ranging in size from 1,700 to over 2,200 sq. ft. with three or four bedrooms.

The Greens – A gated community with six different neighborhoods, all with a different style of home. Houses are larger than most in Westchase, ranging between 2,000 and 4,000 sq. ft.; many have swimming pools and spas.

Harbor Links / The Estates – Elegant three- or four-bedroom homes that range from 1,700 to 3,300 sq. ft. with custom kitchens and baths, foyers and formal dining rooms. Home sites are much larger than most at Westchase and many offer swimming pools and spas as well.

Keswick Forest – Winding streets with slightly larger single-family homes. Three or four bedrooms, spacious kitchens, volume ceilings and quaint fireplaces as well as spas and swimming pools in some homes.

Radcliffe – A larger tropically-themed neighborhood with estate-sized homes including three, four or more bedrooms, spas, swimming pools, three bathrooms and large bonus rooms. Homes vary from 2,400 to 3,500 sq. ft.

Saville Rowe – Sophisticated Mediterranean-style homes with balconies, black iron fencing, patios and lush landscaping. These homes range from two to three bedrooms and go up to 2,100 sq. ft. Maintenance-free living is also provided.

The Shires – Mostly single-story three- to four-bedroom homes in a larger neighborhood made up of three separate villages. Houses range from 1,700 to 2,200 sq. ft. and offer open kitchens, snack bars, volume ceilings, spa-like bathrooms with garden tubs, as well as swimming pools and spas.

The Vineyards – One of Westchase’s most desirable communities and chosen by Professional Builders Magazine and the National Association of Home Builders as a “Best in American Living” award winner in 2001. Three- to four-bedroom homes ranging from 1,300 to around 2,100 sq. ft. that offer low-maintenance living, a community pool, winding trails and lakefront walking paths.

West Park Village – An old-fashioned small-town atmosphere in a nearly 200-acre community that offers two, three and four bedroom floor plans in apartments/condos, townhomes, villas and single-family homes in a variety of sizes and prices.

Woodbay – Homes ranging in size from 1,800 to over 2,400 sq. ft. with three to four bedrooms, contemporary kitchens and baths, pristinely landscaped yards in a stunning neighborhood.

Wycliff – A small neighborhood of about 30 homes on one street, this neighborhood has three- to four-bedroom homes ranging from 1,800 to 2,400 sq. ft. with spas, swimming pools, volume ceilings, contemporary kitchens and baths as well as fenced back yards.
